PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

The Prayer Shawl Ministry was formed to provide prayer shawls to the sick of our parish.
It is open to anyone who would like to knit or crochet a shawl and donate it to be given to
a sick person. The group meets on the fourth Monday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m. in the
rectory. The members of the group pray as they knit or crochet and pray together over the shawls before they are given away. The shawl is meant to bring peace, comfort and healing to the person who is sick.
